Sequoia National Park is one of the first national parks I ever visited and have since been several times every year for camping, backpacking, elopements, and adventure sessions! Tucked away in the southern Sierra Nevada mountains of California, this beautiful place is filled with famous giant sequoia trees, including some of the largest trees in the world! Sequoia is filled with endless beautiful scenery of redwoods and sequoias, epic rock formations, lush meadows, enchanting forests, alpine lakes, and more - it happens to be one of my favorite elopement locations too! Whether you want to do lots of hiking or no hiking at all, or other activities like rock climbing, horseback riding, snowshoeing, Sequoia has such a wide variety of options and diverse landscapes to choose from!

Cristal and Jesse are such sweet, funny, and adventurous souls! When they reached out to me, they already had their heart set on Sequoia National Park - one of my favorite and most frequented national parks! It fit the redwoods vibe they were going for, and since they really value their time in nature together, this was the perfect way to document that part of their love story!
We had a blast exploring this beautiful grove of Sequoia trees, cracking jokes, and talking about their past adventures in places like the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Antelope Canyon, and their spontaneous no-plans road trip from Las Vegas all the way up California's coast - the trip where Jesse first said “I love you” under the stars in the redwoods!
