Mammoth Lakes is a charming mountain town and, growing up in California, has become one of my absolute favorite places! It really has a little bit of everything - weather you want to relax by a lakeside or beach shore, grab a beer at a local brewery, eat some stellar cuisine, enjoy a niche bakery, wake up to some delicious coffee spots, go hiking, paddle-boarding, swim in some hot springs, enjoy skiing or snowboarding or snowshoeing in the winter, or take in the fall foliage in the autumn seasons, options are endless! Even just driving through this place is awe-inspiring, and would be a lovely trip to include your wedding or elopement on!

Convict Lake is one of my favorite landscapes in California! You can have your serene beach-side vows exchanged with the turquoise lake waters and rugged colorful rock formations behind you while you hear the gentle movement on the lake and breeze through the trees around you. It’s truly magical!

Not only that, but you’re also a short drive from several other iconic spots in Mammoth Lakes, like some incredible overlooks, sunset vistas, hot springs, other enchanting lakes, beautiful forests, and more.

Mammoth Mountain Wedding

One of the reasons this is my favorite mountain town is because of, well, the mountains! The incredibly majestic purple and blue peaks, capped with snow most of the time, but still glorious throughout the year. I’ll never get tired of those amazing views - even just driving through the town offers vast mountainous scenery.

These heavenly peaks make make such a beautiful backdrop for your Mammoth mountain wedding or elopement! There’s plenty of beautiful spots to see mountain landscapes in Mammoth Lakes, with some of my favorite views being near the hot springs!

Eloping in Mammoth is like an all-inclusive elopement experience! You have the nice small town of Mammoth Lakes to enjoy, with all its charm and unique venues. And then you also have some amazing spots for an elopement ceremony, whether you want a ceremony with loved ones or exchange private vows (or both!), with a variety of different backdrops. It’s also beautiful all year-round, with each season offering different benefits and features. There’s also plenty of AirBnb and hotel or resort options to choose from where you can get ready in and enjoy a evening with dinner and drinks.
